Medications

All medications required in your fertility treatment are available at Green Valley Pharmacy, located on the second floor of the Ottawa Fertility Centre.

Medications

Green Valley Pharmacy is owned and operated by an independent pharmacist who caters to fertility patients, which means our patients can count on expert advice and guidance on all medications prescribed by the clinic. Patients should consult their drug insurance plan, if they have one, as many plans cover fertility medications. At Green Valley Pharmacy, patients can bill their drug plan directly – adding an extra level of convenience. For more information contact the pharmacy manager.

Medication FAQs

When do I take the medications?

The timing of medications is important for the overall success of the treatment cycle. Please pay close attention to your timetable for suggested times. There is flexibility in these times based upon your own circumstances, but once you select your schedule, it is important to continue this schedule.

Where should I store/dispose of used needles and syringes?

Needles must be disposed of in the proper disposal container. Green Valley Pharmacy will initially provide you with sharps containers to store your used needles and syringes. For your convenience, there is a needle drop box located outside the main doors of the Ottawa Fertility Centre.
