What makes this career truly rewarding is the outcome – the birth of healthy babies. The joy and happiness that comes with helping a couple or individual become parents is indescribable. Seeing the smiles on their faces and knowing that you played a part in creating a new family is incredibly special.

I find it incredibly satisfying to help people realize their dreams of having a family. Having personally experienced infertility struggles, I can relate to the immense challenges but also the profound reward that comes with eventually building a family.

I chose to specialize in reproductive endocrinology because it is challenging and yet so rewarding. There is a personal connection with patients that grows during their journey. I love to connect with the patients and help them achieve their dream of a family.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is leading the Fertility Preservation program at the OFC and working with patients experiencing urgent medical situations that can affect their fertility. I find working with these individuals to be very rewarding as it is often a challenging and stressful time.

I feel so fortunate to help my patients navigate the appropriate diagnostic tests, the results of these investigations and support them through the decision making unique to their fertility situation. I enjoy doing this by incorporating evidence-based literature, their priorities and overall goals of care.

Early on in my medical training, I knew I wanted to specialize in fertility because it’s something that impacts so many people’s lives and treatments are ever-changing. I strive to provide individualized care for those with PCOS or ovulatory dysfunction, infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss. Another important area of my fertility practice is working with the LGBTQ2S+ community and providing third party reproduction and fertility preservation.
